COVID-19 Update

WPCS Staff & Familes,

After further consideration of the situation regarding COVID-19, it has been decided that it would be in the best interest of the health and safety of students and staff to close all schools in the district through spring break (tentatively returning April 13th). We reached this decision due to the emergency days allocated by the state, which will not require us to make up these days. Although we did consider utilizing eLearning during this period, it was decided through discussions with the technology department that this would not be viable at this time.

With regards to students requiring foot assistance, the middle & high school will be open in the morning from 8:00am to 9:00am and in the afternoon from 11:30am to 12:30pm for pick up lunches. We request that students & parents use the entrance closest to the cafeteria area in both buildings.

We are requesting that all staff stay home during this period and do not come to their respective schools except to pick up any materials from their classrooms or offices. Maintenance staff and the technology department will report to the building as necessary to address any issues on-site.

We thank you all for your patience during this situation, and wish you all good health in the coming weeks.
