As security incidents have occurred at various districts throughout the country, we’ve seen an increased amount of students, staff and parents asking if our network is safe from such threats.
While nothing is absolute, we would like to assure all faculty, students & their parents that the technology department has applied security policies to ensure the safety of the district network. We have been in communication with local districts that have been compromised to learn how the threats entered their network, and to close such vectors on our own network.
With this, we are reasonably sure of the security of our network. In the event that an incident were to occur, we have established procedures to lock down the network and prevent further infection and compromise of data. We are also working with external firms to make sure that we have covered our bases.
